Marketplace & Digital Asset Terms

Last updated: 1 June 2026

These Marketplace & Digital Asset Terms govern the listing, purchase, and sale of digital assets, social media accounts, channels, pages, usernames, licences, and related items ("Digital Assets") on Sure Boost. They form part of, and are in addition to, our Terms of Service. Buying or selling a Digital Asset means you accept the risks disclosed below.

1. Nature of the Marketplace

Sure Boost operates a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of Digital Assets. Depending on the listing, Sure Boost may act as a facilitator between a third-party seller/partner and you, or as the seller of items it lists directly. Where we act as a facilitator, the contract for the asset is between you and the seller, and our role is limited to providing the platform, payment handling, and (where offered) escrow and dispute tooling.

2. Digital goods — delivery & "as is"

  • Digital Assets are intangible goods delivered electronically (e.g. credentials, transfer of ownership, or downloadable items).
  • All Digital Assets are sold on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Because digital goods are delivered immediately and cannot be "returned", all sales are final except as expressly provided in our Refund & Dispute Policy (e.g. asset materially not as described or not delivered).

3. Risk disclosure — read carefully

By purchasing a Digital Asset you acknowledge and accept that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Sure Boost does not guarantee and is not responsible for any of the following:

  • Continued access or longevity — an account may be suspended, restricted, recovered, or permanently banned by the relevant platform at any time, before or after purchase;
  • Platform compliance — buying, selling, or transferring accounts may violate a social platform's terms of service; the platform may act against the asset for that reason;
  • Authenticity of metrics — followers, views, subscribers, engagement, or history may include inactive, purchased, or non-genuine activity;
  • Monetisation or eligibility — eligibility for monetisation, verification, advertising, or any program is controlled by the platform and may be revoked;
  • Recovery by a prior owner — an original owner may attempt to reclaim an account via the platform's recovery process;
  • Future value — the value or performance of any asset may decline; assets are not investments or securities and no return is promised.

You assume all of these risks.

4. Buyer responsibilities

  • Conduct your own due diligence before buying; ask questions via the listing or support before completing a purchase.
  • Immediately after transfer, secure the asset: change passwords, recovery email/phone, and enable two-factor authentication where available.
  • Comply with the relevant platform's terms and all applicable laws in your use of the asset.
  • Raise any dispute within the stated dispute/escrow window with evidence; failing to do so may waive remedies.

5. Seller / partner responsibilities & warranties

  • Sellers represent and warrant that they have full legal right and authority to sell and transfer the asset, and that it is not stolen, hacked, compromised, or subject to any third-party claim;
  • Listings must be accurate and not misleading as to metrics, history, ownership, or condition;
  • Sellers must complete any verification we require and cooperate in transfer and dispute resolution;
  • Sellers indemnify Sure Boost and buyers against losses arising from a breach of these warranties.

6. Prohibited assets

The following must not be listed or sold: stolen, hacked, or compromised accounts; assets obtained in violation of law or another party's rights; accounts containing or used for illegal content; assets subject to sanctions; and anything prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Escrow, disputes & fees

Where escrow is offered, payment may be held until delivery is confirmed or a dispute window closes. Disputes are handled through the in-app tools and the Refund & Dispute Policy. We may charge fees or commissions on transactions, disclosed at or before checkout. Our good-faith decision on a dispute is final to the extent permitted by law.

8. Ownership transfer

"Ownership" of a social account is functional control of credentials and recovery information; it is not a registrable legal title and remains subject to the platform's rules, which may prohibit transfer. We facilitate transfer on a best-efforts basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent control.

9. Legality varies by jurisdiction

The legality of buying, selling, or transferring social media accounts and certain Digital Assets differs from country to country and may be restricted or prohibited by the relevant platform's terms or by local law. You are solely responsible for determining whether a transaction is lawful where you live and for complying with the relevant platform's rules. Nothing in the Marketplace is intended to facilitate unlawful conduct, and we may remove any listing at our discretion.

10. No professional advice

Nothing on the Marketplace is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Digital Assets are not offered as investments and carry no promise of profit or appreciation.

11. Your statutory consumer rights

These terms do not exclude or limit any non-waivable consumer rights you have under applicable law (such as Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and equivalent laws elsewhere in Africa). Where such law applies, your statutory rights prevail over any conflicting term here.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sure Boost's liability in connection with any Digital Asset is limited as set out in our Terms of Service (§14). We are not liable for platform actions (including suspension, banning, or recovery), loss of access, loss of metrics or monetisation, or any consequential loss arising after delivery.
